Julie Rennecker, PhD, is the Chief Experience Officer at Third Rock, an Austin-based cybersecurity compliance software and consulting firm. Julie’s background includes bedside clinical experience as an RN in ICU, ER, and behavioral health; a PhD in Organizational Behavior from MIT’s Sloan School of Management specializing in technology adoption; service on the Information Systems faculty at Case Western Reserve University; and more than 20 years conducting research and consulting projects around the challenges of technology integration and change. She brings a unique synthesis of clinical, academic, and industry experience to bear on the challenges of achieving cybersecurity compliance in healthcare.
